Our Philosophy
At Darlaston Pro / Am Boxing Gym, we believe that boxing is more than just a sport; it's a way of life. Our philosophy is rooted in discipline, respect, and personal growth, encouraging members to excel both in and out of the ring.
Established in 2015, we are an England boxing Affiliated club. The gym has outstanding facilities which include X2 rings, a wide range of bags, cardio equipment including HITT rower, SKI, and bike machines.

Tony is the founder and Head coach at Darlaston Pro / Am Boxing Gym. Himself a very well known former boxer offers over 40 years of experience in the sport, Tony wanted to create a gym with an old school feel that not only provided top-notch training but also a supportive community of boxers. Since 2015 the Gym has become one of the most respected boxing gyms in the Midlands.

Kieron is the son of founder Tony and brings a wealth of knowledge as he was brought up on the sport. Kieron has been a coach since 2020 and in July '25 passed his EB LV 2 qualification, along side this Kieron has been a BBBoC Pro Coach / Second since' 22. Kieron is also the clubs secretary and handles all the stuff behind the scenes.

Anthony has been at the gym since '23. and has been a EB LV 2 coach since July '25 Ant has a mixed martial arts background and was a competitive Kick boxer in his younger days. Ant has really found his feet and is not only a top coach is an asset to the club and a face that you regularly see on the amateur circuit.

Matt has been an EB LV 1 coach at the gym since Jan '25. Matt as like Ant, found him self re-igniting his love for boxing when his daughter joined the club. The former boxer has become a key part of DBG coaching team and is an asset to the club and another face that you regularly see on the amateur circuit.

Elaine is the front of house guru who everyone sees prior enterring the gym. she is the beating heat of the gym and takes the cash, makes a top notch cuppa and is the clubs welfare officer. She has 3 children who all box for the club and without doubt she is fundamental to the gyms operations.

Liam is the Newest recruit at DBG but has been in the game for a number of years prior to joining our coaching team. Liam is a PT and has become a key member at DBG Liam likes to focus on 1-2-1 and bring out the best in each boxer. Liam also runs the social media accounts along side Kieron.
